Welcome to 'Football Americano Femenino en Latinoamérica' website. Full-Contact American Football for Women has been gaining growth and momentum over the past recent years in Latin America. This website, developed by Ms Elle, is a platform to unite the pioneering women's leagues and teams already formed in the region; to inspire new leagues and teams to form; and to build a sisterhood community for American Football.

* For the year of 2022 I took a big step back from promoting and assisting women's football since I first started in 2014 or updating this website for 2022 to mull over my disheartened feelings from what I have personally experienced in the football community and what I have seen going on in the sport. * Not only in Latin America but in North America as well since the onset of the Covid-19 shutdown in March 2020 to the 2022 IFAF World Championships etc. * THE WOMEN'S SPORT IS SUPPOSE TO BE DIFFERENT! * Not to follow the same power tripping controlling selfish tactics that only benefit narcissistic bully egos that we have all seen with the men's sport over the decades. * The women's sport is suppose to set a 'new' standard of ethical & moral values. WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN! WOMEN CONTROLLING THEIR OWN SPORT! NOT MEN CONTROLLING WOMEN IN THE SPORT! The greatest complaint I have heard for years from women in the sport across the Americas is men trying to control the women... This has led to an array of abuses of power; emotional, psychological, physical, sexual, financial... THE WOMEN'S SPORT IS NOT SUPPOSE TO FALL TO THE SAME CORROSIVE CORRUPT DESTRUCTIVE TACTICS AS THE MEN'S SPORT. |
* I have been trying to stay optimistic and enthusiastic hoping that after the countries returned to full functioning calendars this year and a sense of normality fell into place, after 2 years of Covid-19 uncertainty, people would be even more appreciative, caring, compassionate of having the opportunity to participate in this sport and selflessly help others in the sport especially those at a disadvantage because of financial limitations.
* However the opposite affect seems to have occurred! * Football vultures I call them, behaving desperate and aggressive or with calculated strategic actions, lacking all sense of moral & ethical values, pretending to care about the women's sport but yet not caring to learn and understand the socioeconomic plights and daily challenges Latin girls and women endure in such a toxic misogynist culture and sport. 1st world nations, especially from the USA, flying in from every direction to financially capitalize from exploiting the vulnerable players and selfless volunteers of this burgeoning sport in the Latin region and other developing nations, vultures wanting to sink their claws in deep for power and control on the growing popularity of the women's sport. Financially capitalizing could come in a variety of forms; sponsors, media/tv/advertising, registration fees, bribes, etc... |
